The customers who already paid you are your easiest next booking.
Most businesses never follow up with the people who already bought from them. Win-back finds the customers who haven't been back, texts them in their language with an offer you approve, and when they answer, Esmi books them on your calendar.
- Find
- Esmi reads your booking calendar and finds customers who haven't been back in 6 weeks to 18 months.
- Check
- Every text passes a consent check first: when they last bought, local hours, opt-outs, how often we've written.
- Text
- One message in Spanish and English, from your own number, with the offer you approved.
- Book
- They reply, Esmi answers and books them on your calendar, tagged so your team honours the offer.
What it does
- Find
- Pulls lapsed customers from your booking calendar, or from a spreadsheet export
- Timing
- Skips anyone who already booked or came back since their last visit
- Message
- One bilingual text from your own number; the word they reply with picks the language
- Booking
- Esmi answers every reply and books on your real calendar
- Weekly
- Customers who newly pass six weeks are picked up automatically each week
- Results
- Texted, came back, booked with the offer, and revenue from your own prices
No customer list? You'll have one.
Walk-in businesses often never learn their customers' numbers. A sign at the counter invites them to text one word to your number to join your club. Their text is their written consent, recorded with the exact words on the sign, and from then on they get a reminder when they're due.
- Sign
- Bilingual, in your colours, with a QR code that opens the text for them
- Join
- They text one word; Esmi confirms in their language
- Consent
- Only a text counts. The number is the phone that sent it, never one typed in
- Leave
- STOP ends it on the spot
What it will not do
These checks run before every single text, not once per campaign. If any one of them can't be confirmed, that text doesn't go.
- Cold lists
- Never texts a bought or scraped list, only your own customers
- Consent
- Each contact carries the reason we may write to them, and when that reason expires
- Opt-outs
- STOP is honoured immediately and that number is never written to again
- Hours
- Only inside local daytime hours for the customer's market
- Frequency
- At most one text a week and three per campaign, per person
- Your words
- Nothing goes out until you've approved the exact text and the offer
- Calls
- No AI calls to a past customer who didn't ask for one
These controls reduce risk; they are not legal advice. In Ontario, a recent purchase gives implied consent to text under Canada's anti-spam law, for a limited time; in the US, marketing texts need written consent, which the club sign collects. We go through what applies to your list with you before anything is sent.
First campaign: a Toronto barbershop
Our first client is a two-location barbershop in Toronto that kept no customer list, so their booking calendar became the list: 36 customers, 17 of them overdue. We'll publish the results here once the campaign has run, whatever they turn out to be.
